I think Fridays are overrated. Mini-Amateur and I were discussing the idea early this morning. She was up studying for a math test, I was up getting Tiny Dude ready for soccer practice. It was dark.

It’s 8:30AM and I’ve gotten three kids up and out to their respective practices and schools in two separate trips at three different locations around town. I’ve made breakfast, lunch, done three loads of laundry, pooper-scooped, returned the trash bin to the house and set out the bulk trash. I’ve changed clothes because I got soaked showering Isaac this morning. My groceries will be arriving soon and then I will make my Plan of Attack for the day.

There isn’t anything special about me.

This is just the life of a “Mom of Bigs”.

But Saturdays! Ahhhh…Saturdays! Even though we have some pretty packed weekends, the pace is changed and the obligations are different. And at least for now we rarely have to leave the house in the dark. Which is awesome!

Sundays are pretty good, too. We have church in the morning followed, usually, by very little. This is Isaac in his Special Needs Bible Class drawing a picture he called:

“A Pumpkin Full of Snakes”

I have nothing to say about this. Except that he was very proud and excited!

Tie a knot and hang on … you’re almost to the weekend!
